Special exhibition “Bildstörung”

In “Rosa Zimmer”, the artist Volker Hildebrandt transforms the flickering of an image disturbance – as we know it from analogue television – into numerous black, white and grey dots of color that extend over an entire room: an image of television reality, which in turn pretends to be an image of reality. Works by Julius von Bismarck and Julian Charrière, Martha Rosler and Viktoria Binschtok show other forms of “image disturbance”
