Museum am Löwentor
The State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart is one of the most popular museums in the country. Its two buildings, the Museum am Löwentor (paleontology) and Rosenstein Palace (biology), offer fascinating insights into the development and diversity of life. The Museum am Löwentor takes visitors on a journey into prehistoric times: Famous fossils from southwestern Germany are on display, ranging from dinosaurs and marine reptiles to Ice Age animals, complemented by lifelike reconstructions.
