Greetings from Anette Taube

The Long Night of Museums takes place in Stuttgart only once a year. This year, it will be on March 21st. Are you new to Stuttgart, or a long-time resident? Do you come from the region or even further afield? The Long Night has something to offer everyone. Browse the program magazine or our website lange-nacht.de and create your own personal evening from the offerings of the 63 participating museums, galleries, studios, historical sites, and industrial monuments. Or simply let yourself drift along. On this night, you can experience Stuttgart’s art and cultural venues in a truly special and unique atmosphere.

We look forward to your visit and wish you a wonderful time!

Greetings from Arne Braun

The Long Night of Museums – an absolute highlight in Stuttgart’s cultural calendar: Every year, more than 20,000 visitors experience a night of cultural adventures, discovering new exhibition venues or seeing their favorite museum from a completely different perspective. The invitation extends to more than 60 museums, galleries, art spaces, industrial monuments, bunkers, and alternative art spaces. They all open their doors late into the night to enchant, surprise, and delight their audiences.

Simply a very special experience. I wish all visitors many inspiring impressions – and perhaps even new insights – during their nocturnal encounter with art and culture.

Dr. Frank Nopper
Mayor of the city of Stuttgart

Greetings from Dr. Frank Nopper

It’s been around for over 20 years. The Stuttgart magazine LIFT had a brilliant idea back then. The “Long Night of Museums” still attracts many people. Every year, it draws over 20,000 visitors, especially many young people. The festival is perfectly organized. I am very grateful to everyone involved. Over 60 institutions participate. Once again, it’s time to discover familiar, hidden, and unusual cultural venues. The “Long Night” transforms Stuttgart into a capital of art and culture. I warmly invite you to discover Stuttgart’s culture on a nighttime stroll!
