Haus der Geschichte
A fascinating journey through Baden-Württemberg’s history: The museum offers an overview of the development of southwest Germany over the past 200 years – and of the region’s many facets, from the economy and cutting-edge research to religion. The permanent exhibition “Regional History(ies)” showcases unusual, important, and new aspects of southwest Germany. Around 1,500 original objects illustrate how major historical events impacted local communities, how political changes and technological progress, war and peace, hardship and prosperity affected every individual.
