At the House of Music in the Fruchtkasten on Schillerplatz, everything revolves around historical, but also unusual, musical instruments. The exhibition “Unheard of! Musical Instruments
with a Twist” focuses on unusual instruments beyond the traditional orchestral lineup. The presentation “Soundscapes with a Migration Background” encompasses instruments from the Renaissance to self-playing musical instruments from the 19th and 20th centuries.
