Kunstverein Wagenhalle

The Wagenhalle art association has created an extraordinary production and meeting place in the former railway carriage repair hall at Stuttgart’s North Station, connecting industrial history with contemporary art and offering space for creative work, exchange, and collaborative projects. Around 150 artists and cultural practitioners from diverse fields work in the spacious studios, workshops, and ateliers: from painting, music, architecture, and baubotanical design to theater, puppet making, graphic and web design, crafts, photography, curatorial practice, and film and media art. The Wagenhalle is a vibrant place where experimentation, production, and collaborative thinking take place. The project space regularly presents works by members as well as collaborations with regional and international artists and institutions.
